National Young Mathematician competition 2013 - 12.11.13

Four children from year 6 and one from year 4 took part in the National Young Mathematician competition at Explore learning in Cabot Circus.  Altogether there are seven schools taking part for this area of Bristol.  The children were set a problem solving task.  They then had to work as a team to find as many solutions as possible.  Teams were marked on how many different solutions they found and how they worked together as a team.  The children represented the school very well and found 14 different solutions.  We will find out later this week if we are through to the next round!
